Default Quality Car Cover

Good Morning. I'm a new poster to these groups and I hope I'm not rehashing
old news by asking this question. Can anyone recommend a quality car cover
from personal experience? I have recently acquired an anitque vehicle and
need a quality car cover while it's in storage. I have seen lots of ads for
various manufacturer's with widely varying prices and warranties and would
like to avoid a costly mistake. Any specific recommendations welcomed.

Thank You

Default Quality Car Cover

Hi,

I have driven a 1956 Cadillac as my daily transportation for the last
6 years. I haven't gotten around to building a garage for it yet so it
has o sit in the driveway. The absolute best cover I have found is
made by Covercraft. The fabric is made by Kimberly-Clark and is called
Evolution 3. There is another one called Noah. They are both about the
same. Covercraft makes fitted covers from this material and will even
customize for you for additiona;l mirrors, hood ornaments, etc.

They say not to use itin place of a garage but I have no choice. My
car looks like itjust came out of the showroom every time I take the
cover off. I will build a garage eventually.

It is thick enough to protect against dents, door dings, etc. It's
also light enough to roll up and carry by yourself. Many companies
sell these covers and the price varies wildly. Shop around. I paid
around $200 for mine. That's a big cover for a big car. I've seen
them for double that. It's also guaranteed for 4 years .

CoverCraft
100 Enterprise Blvd.
Pauls Valley, OK 73075

I hope this helps you.
Forrest

Otto,

Thank you very much for the timely reply post, and your insight on this
product. It sounds like just what I'm looking for. I will certainly look
into it further.

Another place you may want to try is California Car cover. They make
very good car covers too. I've had one on my 64 Chrysler for over a year now
and it protects just fine. The car is in the garage and the cover is made
to be used only indoors but they do make other covers and, if I'm not
mistaken, use the materials the previous poster mentioned. You can find them
on the web doing a Google search.
