Ford Probe, Mazda 626 and Mazda MX6 were all made at Flat Rock, MI in a
plant that used to belong to Mazda. In 1992 Ford purchased a 50% stake in that assembly plant. The Probe and the MX6 are not the same car, but they are built on the same platform. The Mazda 626 was sold as the Ford Telstar in some markets.
