That's not much dumber than the other ones--who raise the vehicle so
far that they need a ladder to get in, and can't turn for fear of
rolling over. It's for 4-wheel drive clearance?? Sure, but you can't
be on ground that isn't nearly level or you'll roll. AND, your
clearance is only as high as the axle/differential, which depends
solely on wheel size. So for all the high altitude, all they get is a
couple inches extra clearance.
