replacing cylinder head
I have a 97 SL2 that had the timing chain break, I am currently
considering (and starting to) replacing the cylinder head and other damaged components. I was wondering if it is possible to remove the cylinder head without removing the engine from the vehicle. I have started to do so and it was going well until the intake manifold, I am not entirely sure how to remove it as the bolts are deep in the engine facing the firewall. |

The intake manifold is bolted to the head (and I > think 1 support bracket to the block), so it comes out with the head. So i don't need to remove the manifold first? Thanks for the help. |
