Default E32 Lighting problems

I appear to have somehow ended up with a 1989 BMW 730iSE.

It has random headlights on. As in, they work randomly.

Sidelights and Full (High) Beam work all the time, but the dip beams only
work when they feel like. The brake lights also fail occasionally.

Everything else seems to work fine and dandy.

Any pointers to curing the lighting maladies??

Nice enough car, but it makes me enjoy my Merc W124 all the more...

Ah, I know it's bad form to answer my own question, but it appears Google
has the knowledge

The Light Kontrol Module (LKM) is to blame. Can often be fixed by
reflowing any dodgy looking solder joints.
