Default 2001 Cabrio Convert

Help! My wife just bought a 2001 Cabrio via Ebay and unfortunately it
did not come with an owners manual. That didn't stop her from taking
the top down and now it doesn't want to go back up! Note, it is a
manual top. Thanks in advance. Bill

If it's anything like the old MkI Cabrio, there's a couple of latches
either side of the car near the rear seats that secure it when it's
down.

Might want to invest in the owners manual for this car, especially if your
wife intends to move on to the more advanced topics of steering, braking,
etc. ; ) You can buy the set new at
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=RC01. If the $39.99 price
tag makes you choke, you might be able to find a used set on Ebay, etc.

There is a latch on the drivers side that will release the top.
