Default Facelift: E34 ->E39 Possible ?

Hi,

Is it possible to face lift an E34 touring to an E39 Touring.

Especially I am thinking about face lifting the E34 to get the E39 front.

Thank you in advance

Just about anything is possible, but they're totally different cars.

And why would you wish to ruin the looks of an E34? ;-)

I'll leave the trashing to others (they're doing quite well) and emphasize
Dave's statement above. THERE ARE NO BODY PANELS AND OTHER
STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS IN COMMON BETWEEN THE TWO MODELS.
Well, maybe the sunroof...

I believe the grill swap from the early E34 to the later E34 is quite easy
and IMO a big visual improvement. Not an answer to your question, but
another option, unless your Touring is already a later model.

Pimp My Ride on MTV did spend a ton of cash on M3 body kit parts for a Ford
Escort. There's just no accounting for taste.

Here's a pic, not great from the side, but you get the idea:

You're right. I understand the change is a simple spanner job.
I do agree. The later grill does look much nicer.
But as you say, not an answer to the OP's question.
Mike.
