Default Towing a Samuria

I just bought an 87 Samurai and I would like sometimes to tow it benind my
truck. It came with a 'towing plate' on the front bumper and I believe a
'wish-bone' type of draw bar attaches to in and then to the ball on my
hitch. I don't have the draw bar. My questions a any draw bar make better
than another? how much should I expect to pay (Cdn $$), secondhand and new?
Sources of secondhand other than the Buy&Sell and newspaper classifieds?
Thanks!

eBay? There is no standard so you'd have to be really careful to get
one that fits.

I don't think you bothered to look B4 posting, they are all over the
'net & most need no plate, it's prolly something a previous owner left
on, or gumped on, or a pushplate or winchmount.

Yep, I can find 'towbars' all over the 'net, however, I was hoping that
someone knowledgeable about the Sammy and towbars would chime in and offer
an answer to my question, like 'what make and what model?' etc. Guess I'll
have to take my question to a "Hitch" shop; I wanted to avoid that. Oh yes,
great deduction, the plate was left on by a previous owner 'caus I sure
didn't put it on J

There is no such issue & all these tiny trucks are used with whatever
towbar will will bolt or clamp on, which is most small ones. You're
inventing a concern that doesn't exist.

If you did, then you'd listen to simple facts. Repost after they tell
you the same thing.

Reread your own post, wherein you imply thinking it to be some
specially required Sammy towbar plate. Occasionally local grade
schools offer free remedial reading & writing classes...

Heck Wal~Mart sells one that would tow that toy. I have one that I used
to tow my BILs Samurai when it broke down. Think it is a Draw Tite unit.
It was about 50 bucks.

Thanks Steve and PCK. That's the start I need, I would have been surprised
if it was a complicated piece of equipment. Sorry if it was a dumb question
but I had to ask.
