So the wrangler must also have a 400hp motor and be able to safely

Anything can get stuck and they all have.

HP has nothing to do with being off road capable or being able to width
stand severe abuse. Follow the link and you will see. You notice it is not a jeep HE, HE, HE http://www.sprayonmud.us/ Coasty "Corey Shuman" > wrote in message oups.com... > So the wrangler must also have a 400hp motor and be able to safely > break the 150 mph mark.. It's stock except for the removal of a few parts for ground clearance and BF Goodrich TA/KO tires. It climbs like a mountain goat and rides like a car on the highway. It's pricey and only available with a V6 but it's quick on city streets and can cruise all day at 80+ mph. It's a mid size but it has a large interior payload capacity. It consistently wins at the Paris to Dakar rally, which is the closest conditions to what I drive in the US southwest desert. This is my second one and it gets my vote for the most reliable. I agree. If you want a 4X4 for off road, they are hard to beat. I just bought an 06 Nissan Frontier 4.0L that I am anxious to see how it performs in the snow. The wife has an 05 Jeep GCL and it's awesome in deep snow. Pricey however; both. Hell, what ain't these days? |
