Explorer tranny
I've got a 2003 Explorer, V6, auto transmission. Bought it used, tranny
fluid not changed for a time. Just had changed after shifting issues. From 1st to 2nd gear, it has trouble shifting, rpms keep going up, if I ease off on accelerator, it shifts. Any ideas what could be wrong? Sully Ramsey, MN |

Or it's totally shot. Before spending $2000 or more for a rebuilt I'd see if it can be adjusted and perhaps even put in some magic snake oil (trans fix). Might be able to put off an expensive repair in some cases. |
