84 Scirroco, 1.7l, for project, S. Cal--BO
The good: Licensed, runs decent, passes smog w/no prob. New radiator,
front tires, rears 60-70%, 1 wheel bearing and hub, ignition parts, upper strut bearings. Has Tokico 5 way struts, w/ Autotec 25/28mm swaybars, lifetime warranty on Tokicos. All glass intact, no cracks. Not so good: Paint, hood & front fenders repainted, possibly several times, hood paint is pretty thick. Rest of car is pretty faded. Has the normal older VW oxidized electrical connectors, water/oil temp gauges read hot when running, rad fan shuts off in seconds when car is turned off. Tack needle bounces about, occasionally has stopped, then started working again. Has Interior is worn. Dash has cracks, Seats(from jetta?) worn driver side, passenger side better. Headliner was >repaired< by previous owner=ugh Sunroof works, needs the small links/arms that lift/move on one side, probably a seal too. Located in Palm Springs. Make offer, to include transportation |
