sunroof on my 97SL2 stuck

Default sunroof on my 97SL2 stuck

Sunroof clicks and tries to open but wont move.

Same thing happened on my 97 SC1. Roof opened but would not close again --
just clicks, like it's off the track. Three dealers said they don't fix
sunroofs, they just replace them. Price: about $900. We don't use the
sunroof any more. Maybe we could get one at a junkyard for less.

Joey at 6th Planet has a cheaper option. Myself, I made it so the
sunroof sits flat in the roof and used clear silicone caulk to seal
it.

If you are lucky, marx404 is right and things are just dirt and in
need on lube.
