Default pickup choosing/buying

Hello,

living in Belgium we don't have much choice in pickup trucks, USA
imports is probably the only way to get a decent pickup. Used is the
only way affordable, since I will be paying +/-40% overhead (taxes and
import duty)
I have a set of requirements:

- diesel engine (need very much torque, for pulling heavy load)
- 4X4
- crew cab
- Long Bed (7 ft min) with or without bed mounted (I will take it of
and built on the chassis
- No Dually
- cruise control
- engine block heater
- trailer hitch

I've seen a Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD recently, and I think it meets
my requirements, but maybe there are other alternatives out there?

Also, what diesel usage can I expect with a 6.6 V8, or a bigger Diesel
engine?
