97 SL2 Engine temprature sensor/fuel delivery
I have alot of carbon coming from my tailpipe and on my spark plugs that
foul weekly. My coolant gauge also never moves when vehichle is warmed up.there is a strong gas oder as well.No codes on scanner. I've replaced fuel filter.Im guessing my coolant sensor may be the instigator. so today I unpluged the sesor and my gauge jumps up to half way mark.(though I had run it for a mere min.) none-the-less could I be on the right track? |

ok when you say you smell gas is it comming out the tail pipe I had the
same problem I would smell gas comming out the back. My car seemed to be running fine but I smelled gas comming out the back .I tried replacing the spark plugs and wires that didn't work. So I changed my coil packs and it stoped it. I hope this will help |
