Intrepid engine noise...

I own a 2002 Intrepid with 16k miles on it. Within the last 500 miles,
I've noticed an increasingly louder noise coming from the area around
the drivers side rocker cover. The noise first sounded like a sheet
metal shroud vibrating against another part, but lately, it has become
more pronounced... and sounds more like it could be bearing noise.

The oil was dumped at 500 miles, and has been changed every 5k since.

Does anyone know of any recuring problems, similar to this, on the 3.5
liter engines?
