SRS/ECU Warnings
1994 Honda Civic Lx 1.5
Need data for future use. My manual warns(many times) that the air bags should be disabled before working near the SRS system. Is there a fuse or relay that will kill power to SRS and leave power on the ECU computer? The online Honda manual shows two pigtail plugs coming out of a wireing harness above the computer. I haven't found these yet, do I have to remove the the computer to get to these plugs? The two wire plug can be shorted to read trouble codes when the Check Engine light is on. I haven't needed to do this yet but with 168000 miles I may be over due:-). Ernie |
