(articles fail to mention this closed 28th Street for a few hours, a busy
business district in the area)

Fire investigators took a closer look Sunday at the damage from Saturday
night's natural gas explosion and fire.

Fire investigators know the gas leak started when an elderly woman drove
through the parking lot of the Leonard Hill Car Wash, lost control, and hit
the three inch gas main along the wall. From there, Grand Rapids Fire
Investigator Pablo Martinez says any little spark from a car or an
electrical appliance could have caused the inferno that followed.
....
Leonard Hill Car Wash is a total loss. But, all of the surrounding
businesses tell us they plan to be open for business Monday, despite some
broken windows and other damage.

With any luck, she vaporized. Unfortunately this would have happened
*AFTER* the procreative stage of her life.
