news from The Samba .... looks like Trends is gone

This is a big loss to the ACVW people. My son keeps an active
subscription to them and I to Hot VW's. Between the two magazines much
knowledge has been shared. Competative magazines keep each other
working hard for their readerships and loosing one often affects the
quality of the other. I hope Wright publishing and their "crated"
treasure in the back room will increase the quality and not get lax.

in recent years. It was all fluff & had no real content.........ever. It
became painful trying to read it sometimes. Eventually, I stopped
bothering to even try.

......Amazingly, she's asking the Common Gear listees to wish her luck on
finding someplace else for her to write that silly nonsense. I hope she

LOL, I read a couple of those but not as of lately, does she still wirte like
this:

I have a single cab, blah blah blah blah blah blah my single cab blah blah
blah blah and one time, in my single cab blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah. Whats happening in the midwest as far as aircooleds go? beats me, I've
been too busy trying to explain to non VW people that my single cab isn't
homade! blah blah blah blah................ oh and did I mention I have a

Oh, I've read some of her articles. I think she has a really sweet
double-cab, but I wasn't paying very close attention.

After I eat a couple interns for breakfast, make at least five nurses cry
