Default Touran in the US, still a no?

So, with more and more 7-passenger cars (non-SUV) making its way to US
roads, will VW ever bring the Touran? Freestyle, Pacifica, etc.

A small 7-passenger cars just makes sense for people like us who have
kids, live in an urban area, and don't want to get an SUV or a van.

Yes, but when has VWoA done anything sensible? Besides, if they're
going to take on the Japanese in yet another market segment, they'd
better get their quality assurance and dealer network in a row. That
will take some effort, IMHO.
