Location of External Temp. Sensor??
1997 Mercury Mountaineer aka Explorer. The overhead display that gives the
external temperature varies from 108-104 degrees F. I'm guessing the sensor is bad? Where is the sensor located or possible wire colors? Does this sound like a problem from just a bad sensor or maybe the sensor got loose and is resting up next to the engine? Thanks WT |

Location of External Temp. Sensor??
iirc, next to left headlight ,behind grill, under "flap"
Looks like a big "bolt" on a bracket with a connector on 1 side and pointy thingy other side :-) "WT" > wrote in message news:X4Ktf.663085$x96.402486@attbi_s72... > 1997 Mercury Mountaineer aka Explorer.
