87 Audi 5000 heater/airconditioner problem
My 87 Audi 5000 heater/airconditioner suddenly only works in the
lowest temparature position. When pushing the temperature control buttons on the dashboard, there is no response. The screen only shows: the letters "low" My question: Could this be the control unit (with the buttons on the dashboard)? Or. a thermostat, bad connection, etc. ? Any ideas? |

Sure you are not talking about a '97 rather than '87 ?
The '87 didn't have an alpha display, just LED indicators by the buttons. Audi climate control system are rather complex so it could be a number of things .. Most likely a problem in the controller (under dash) or the programmer (on dash). Could also be wiring connections like a bad ground.
