Should 2000 EB - Oil Pressure sending unit - Stuck?
The oil pressure gauge (I know it really is an idiot light with a needle),
appears to be stuck at the bottom until the engine warms a bit, then it "pops" to the proper position. Does this behavior indicate a bad sending unit? |

Does this behavior indicate a bad sending > unit? My 2000 Explorer did the same thing. Took it to the dealer because the warranty was almost up. They said it was a bad sensor and replaced it. Now our 2001 F-150 company truck is doing it. I'm not worried about it. -- </Tazz> |
