better try google.

my point in even mentioning it to an "engineer" was to prove that
engineers/scientists arent omnipotent. sometimes theres no replacing an
experienced field tech.

whomever youre asking obviously doesnt know **** about refrigeration.
perhaps your cousins husband is fresh out of hvac school but you dont need
an hvac guy to answer this question for you....youd better ask a
refrigeration tech if you could "just do without the HMC".

> Here's a poser

you. :-) im not in your industry, nor do i pretend to know (or even care
to know for that matter) 2 things about it.

Just answer the question... is a component of
the atmosphere properly referred to as an
'object'? It really points to the heart of the
matter... the atmosphere is a mixture
of gases, amorphous up to about 100km.

Obviously, you haven't done the gasoline
fume experiment yet!

i was referencing the atomic weight of the gas and you know it, now stop
with the red herrings already and stay on topic. bottom line, a heavier
object (or liquid, or gas) will settle below a lighter one at _any_ altitude
and not just above a magical number as you stated earlier.

*That's* what they teach at the NeoCon seminars...
witness the confusion between 9/11 and Saddam.

Why should I bother? You wouldn't know a proper
proof if it bit you on the ass! You still assert that
Freon doesn't become part of the earth's atmosphere!
Where does it go? Why do the scientists lie and say
they measure it? Why don't other scientists point out
the lie? All a giant conspiracy?
