Default price decrease before arrival new models

Hello,

I am thinking of buying a used car in the near future. Does anyone know if
USED car dealers lower their prices at all just before new models arrive? In
other words, do they try to clear out their inventory in anticipation of
getting cars when people trade in vehicles to get the 2005's?

Thanks for your insight,

JP
