Connect telephone showing "connection not available"

I just bought a new sim-card for the telephone in the connect nav+ system of
my alfa 147. I've got the system working once, but it seems very unstable.
Most of the times when I want to dial a number it gives the message
"Connection not available", and it will not dial. The strange thing is that
I can dial the phone in the car.... So there must be a connection
available.....

Does anyone know a solution?

But would I be able to call the number when there would be something wrong
with the antenna? It also recognizes which provider to use and the telephone
in the screen is fully green, indicating that it has full connection....
