No one, i.e., Wall Street, cares about repairs unless you're a defense contractor with a juicy contract to maintain equipment which doesn't work to begin with. |

You kinda need proper insurance with an older car too. If the car is "basic transportation" ($500 to $1,500), it makes no sense to put big money into it unless you can get something back if the worst should happen.This is what appraisals are for. So it's approx > 14 years old. It's great, I consider that my '91 Accord is excellent for driving 209,000 miles already, but I'm working hard to make that 250,000 mark happen! Also I was raised in Canada so I'll definitely know when I get past the 400,000 km step! RAT |
