Default Bugger....

Rear ended a Merc on the way to work this morning ! Traffic flow
stopped, I didn't! Only doing about 15mph when I hit, but the front
bumper, bonnet and wings are screwed. However, Engine seems fine - but
its impossible to know yet if I've done anything nasty to the chasis -
here's hoping not !
I love that car, and we're about to move house - NOT what I wanted to
happen today !

"front bumper, bonnet and wings" will do it, I suspect. Let us know
how you get on though!

Thanks. Hope to hear this afternoon....
Looking at Parkers, going rate is about £3500-4000. I wonder if I'll get
anymore than £2500 if they write it off.... I hate insurance companies!

If you can find similar models in the auto-trader etc... for a decent price
send the evidence in and they up the outpay - never settle for thier first
payment you can always argue the case.

It's not even arguing. It's the "anything is negotiable" idea.

Ask them first (after their offer) about what's the procedure to buy
back. I know of a friend who was told 10% of payout, so he just did that
and paid for the damage to be fixed afterwards.

Also, you're a muppet for the crash!
