Default 156 - quirky electrics

The left-hand speakers on my radio cut out from time to time.

Please don't laugh at the next bit (it's an Alfa after all) - if I
open/close one of the electric windows, the speakers cut back in again !!!

Any ideas where I should be looking for the fault ?

Dave S 156 2.0 SP2 '98 model :>))

(despite the loony electrics).....

Behind the door card. At a guess the window winding down is nudging the
connectors.
