Driver door won't stay in the full open position
Hi:
I have a 1988 VW Rabbit Cabriolet Convertible. The driver side door will not stay in the full open position, although the passenger side door will. There is no reference in my Bentley manual as to how this can be repaired, and looking at the mechanism provides no clues - even with the interior upholstered door panel removed. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know. Thank you. |

Maybe toss a little dirt into the works? |
