Default BMW 525 or 530, Lease or Buy

Hello I’m trying to make some major decisions between getting a 525i
or 530i. Is there such a difference in what the 530 offers (other than
the obvious options) to justify a $4,000 price increase?

Also, I’m trying to decide between leasing or buying the car. Any
suggestions about pros and cons for both? I know the dealer might make
a different deal depending on what I do but my main issue is which
will be more beneficial in the long run (ie. maintenance, overall
expense).

Please help! Thanks much!

Not sure what options the 530 package gets you beyond the 3 liter engine,
but the extra power is very nice, although not absolutely necessary. Go
drive the two, if the 525 is adequate for you, save the money...or buy a one
year older 530 (with lots of warranty left) and get the lower price plus
more power.

Yes, they are optioned differently, but the answer to your question
depends on where you are in the world. Go to your country's BMW
corporate web site and see what is listed in the standard features for
the 525 and 530.
