Ford Probe '97- occasionally doesn't start
Hello,
I have automatic Ford Probe '97, engine 2.0 (with Mazda 626 engine). Recently, I've been experiencing some problems. Occasionally (I think when it snows or rains - humidity?) when I am driving and trying to brake the engine dies. If I am going fast enough (over 20mph) it starts immediately as the car rolls and, I guess, that makes engine starts. It also every couple of hundreds miles (and I think coincidentally in the bad weather) won't start. All the problems are gone if I disconnect and reconnect battery for half a second. It looks like everything (computer?) is being reset and car starts with no problem at all... for next couple of hundred miles and bad weather.... Please help martin |
