make and year of Aston Martin in "Jeeves and Wooster"

Folks,

After seeing the pre-war Aston Martin driven by Hugh Laurie and
Stephen Fry in the "Jeeves and Wooster" television series, I'm dying
to know the exact year and model.

any help from you Aston Martin
experts?
