Default Code 116 for "check engine light"

After getting a check engine signal I retightened the gas cap then
discnncted battery for 10 mins which gave only 1 minute of the check engine
light being off so this AM had Auto Zone read the code and it's 1166 -"fuel
meter related" according to AZone guy. This 84K flawless miles car runs
great.Suggestions?
Thanks

P1166? As in OBD-II reader form Autozone?

That seems like oxygen sensor heater malfunction. Verify the failure
with ohmmeter test. If so, get a Bosch *planar* type sensor. Autozone
will lend sockets for free. Do both upstream and downstream, might as
well.

I don't like those P0420-causing Denso old thimble sensors.

You need to try the psychic hotline instead. They might be able to
guess what make and model car ou're talking about.

I hate the Dodgers.

O2 sensors aren't typically covered under the emissions warranty.
