Default GPS cd

Hi all.

I need to make a backup copy of my navigator cd (Navtech) for my Alfa
147 1.9TDI.

I succed in creating a cd image with clone cd. Should it work on the
cd player?

Some people told me that the cd driver should crash if there is a
burned cd into the driver.
Can someone confirm it?

If my original cd is not more read-able, i must buy an oher one new?
(165€~)

Thanks
Pippo

Can't see any reason why not (depending on the copy protection)
