Default softtop getting hard

i all,

i noticed a litle split on my softtop just behind the frame on the passenger
window.Nothing serious , and it was stable.

When i was looking for a way to repair or gleu this i did some bad discover.
The lower parts of the top, where its attached under the body the material
of the sorfttop was very hard just like cardbord and i even good break
peaces of it !!

is there anyway i can reverse this , like you do with rubber (
Turpentine* )
or si my top near its end ??

You are talking about the softtop vinyl and not the rain rail?

Assuming this is 13 years old like the US BRG, it is time for a
new top. Lot's of instructions on replacing them on miata.net in
the garage section. Some vendors might ship to Belgium if you
cannot get a reasonably priced top there.
