V6 Spark Plug Changing Period
I'm about to take my 156 V6 in for it's 96000 service. Just curious why, in
the service manual, spark plugs are changed at 48k, and then no further mention of them is made. Shouldn't they also be changed at 96k? And is the air filter really every 24,000 miles? And how come HT leads aren't mentioned at all? Rgds Stuart |

They do it to make th menu pricing look cheap. Change oil and filter every 6k miles. Air & fuel filters every 10k-12k. Spark plugs every 20k. HT leads are probably some modern electronic things or something equally special that last the life of the car?? |
