the alfa workshop - Royston
(http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk)
After a recommendation from catman, headed to Royston today for the cambelt change. Got the 72k service (only done 43k though !) with the cambelt change, tensioners and variator done. Sounds beautiful and drives beautiful - a top job from a top man. Had the MOT done too.... All for £470 - cant complain with that (and even got a nice H reg 164 2.0TS for the day!) All in all, highly recommded and I will be heading back there soon (need the suspension bushes done!) |

Jamie quoted me £460 for the 72k service (incl cambelt and tensioners, and variator), so I was amazed to pay only £470 for a service including service belt change and MOT ! |

Does that give you some idea of why I hate leaving my cars with Jamie and driving off in that barge? For what it is, it's fine. I just don't like 164s in general, and Jamie's are, in all fairness, dogs. > >> *huge* sigh of relief. > > Lol... but thanks again ! Pleasure. All of mine are *older* than that..... There's nothing wrong with them other than they are tired.
