Default Earth to dumbass

Spotted on my way home from work last night:

Dear Minivan Driver,

I appreciate your efforts to maintain proper lighting on the rear of
your vehicle even after something large and solid apparently plowed
into it. However, when using red tape as a temporary repair for your
taillight lenses, may I suggest checking the tape before driving to
make sure that it isn't completely opaque?

thank you,

the guy that almost plowed into the ass end of your already screwed up
minivan.
