96 SL2 SES (0133 and 0304)
I used an OBDII reader to read out the code from my 96 SL2(90K
mileages). It is 0133 (CO2 Sensor) and 0304 (4th Cylinder Misfire). Are these serious issue? If it only affects engine performance, I don't want to spend any extra effort on this car. Thx. |

Is it hard to replace the plug wire DIY? I find can buy it from ebay
around $30 (incl shipping). |

Or, I can just get it done with an engine tune up service?

Clean off the ignition coil tower at the same time. It gets corroded over
time and can affect performance. Also replace the plugs and gap them properly (0.040") at the same time. The complete job shouldn't take more than 30 minutes tops. Also make sure you route the plug wires the exact same way as the originals. Good reason to do them one at a time as suggested.
