You'd be wrong about that then. I hardly venture out of aus.cars. I sporadically read rec.autos.driving to get a handle on the issues that are current with you seppos and sometimes I get a chuckle from reading knob headed postings. In Australia where I live we have the same issues of passing lanes being blocked by righteous/ignorant/judgemental folk and aggression. We are also hit heavily by automated speeding law enforcement. Passing lane blockers **** me off too. The poster of the original message quite obviously made a serious error of judgement by getting into a lane close-off race, thus fully qualifying him to proudly wear a "Don't blame me, blame the Bell Curve" lapel badge. I was really just wondering aloud about the effect this kind of behaviour will have on the gene pool long-term. Phuoc who is nobody's sockpuppet |

Whatever. In retrospect I should have simply calmly driven to the police station with him on my ass the whole time and seen if he wanted to have his altercation there. |

In a case like that, where the other guy has tried to attack you with his vehicle, you'd be insane to stop, whether the law requires it or not. Give him another chance to try to kill you and he may succeed. |

Naw, in retrospect you shouldn't have flipped him off, even though he flipped you off. |
