Default Toyota T-100 2WD. Will 16" rims work?

Has anyone upgraded to 16" rims on a 2WD T-100? I get conflicting
opinions as to whether the tires will rub on the wheel wells. I'd like
to run 265/70R16 tires. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
