I'm a city dweller who's had to deal with this before. When I called the police they told me that since there was not a posted sign that it was a civil matter. "No parking, vehicles(s) left will be towed at owners expense" They could not have the car towed. The next day somehow the car had been mysteriously moved out onto street parking by forces unknown and there it was ticketed as an abandoned car and towed away! Neat & Tidy! Second best if the car cannot be moved: A suitably-worded and officially-formatted "No Parking" sign. |

I favor the "push it out into the street" method. You might also consider loading it up with automotive junk that you had intended to get rid of and which might be of interest to a wrecker and removing any parts that you might find useful. Not that I'd ever do anything like that... -- Cheers, Bev """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" """"""" "They redundantly repeated themselves over and over again incessantly without end ad infinitum" -- ibid. |
