My 156 has just celebrated its 10th birthday (I bought it new in August 1998) - for years the front speakers have been playing up (excuse the pun) every now and then - either side fails at random. The cure in my case is either (a) "twiddle" the controls for the rear electric windows, or (b) do nothing and with a bit of luck the problem goes away eventually . I know, you don't believe me, but method (a) generally works (unless I'm demonstrating the problem to any sceptical mechanic, when the car behaves impeccably). Dave S... 156 2.0 SP2 1998 :>)) (Off to listen to some Led Zep in mono, or stereo if I'm lucky). |

This worked so well that I purchased a second magnet which sits astride the fuel line on my 146 and gives me increased mpg. I was as sceptical as I am sure you are, but both of these magnets were sold with a 90 day money back guarantee.I have had no cause to ask for my money back. |

Simple question - how? I would suspect that the device actually does nothing other than make you think about fuel consumption and as a result, drive slightly more efficiently! |

Well that just sounds odd because my rear windows have those handle things that you turn. When you turn them one way the window goes down and when you turn them the other way, the window goes up - I think they could catch on! |
