My 2003 Sable came with a 6 year 75,000 mile warranty, providing
-full- coverage on the powertrain. I suggest that OP looks at the
paperwork that came with the vehicle to see what it says. IOW, OP
might be able to get a NEW transmission at no cost, at the dealership.
