Default New F-250 Diesel Owner

As a dyed in the wool Chevy owner for most all my 58 years, I just
bought a new 06 Ford F-250, 4 X 4, Crew Cab, 6.0 PS diesel.
Chevy dealers didn't want to deal on their new HD's so I traded my 04
Silverado Z-71 for a Ford.
Being a first time diesel owner, I'm looking for info, hints, anything
that diesel owners should know and heed.
I've been reading The Diesel Stop and Ford Doctors web site
forums..lots of good information but seems to be quite alot of
complaining about different aspects to owning a diesel...
If anyone can point me to any other diesel web sites or information
area where I can get a bit more info or if you want to let me in on the
secrets to keeping and owning a diesel...I'm all ears.

Thanks
Jerry
