techron fuel additive any good?

May try some TB or Carb cleaner if you have access or remove and clean. I
don't think techron would help to remove the carbon buildup, might help a clogged injector. |

Dan, That was my thinking too, but some mechanic that my brother knows
suggested it. My response was the same as your, ie, remove the EGR valve and clean it (ore replace it). As far as combustion chamber cleaners go, I would think that you could open a can of worms by cleaning it. If something got dislodged, could it cause damage?
