Default Lemans Tires by Firestone

I have a Civic that needs new tires and am considering the Lemans
Touring. Anyone have any experience with them?

The name Firestone says it all. Firestone has a long history of delivering
defective tires to the American market. Many may have forgotten about the
Firestone 500, a tire that had a lovely habit of coming apart while the car was
in motion. People died and Firestone had a major recall. Some time later there
was a problem with Firestone tires that had a lovely habit coming apart while
the car was in motion. People died and Firestone had a major recall. Do you
see a pattern here?

I'm sure some Firestone tires are very good, but I'll never buy their product.
