Auto Insurance

I am thinking about buying a classic car (1960s) to restore. The car
probably won't be worth more than 3k. In calling around about classic
car insurance, I keep finding that it needs to be in a locked garage.
Does anyone know of someone who offers classic car insurance but does
not require a locked garage?

who do you have for your other cars? Insure it with them, just don't
point out that it is a "classic" as it isn't until you do all of the
restoration. Then you can get it aprasied and set a value if anything
happens. You'll get a better deal doing it thru you primary insurance
company.
