Default Jeep TJ Auto Torque Converter

What gears do you have?
What size tires do you have?

Is this happening on an incline or flat driving?

Oh yeah, when was the last time you serviced the tranny? and how many miles
between servicing?

Is it possible you might have gotten water in it? even condensation?

3.73 gears and 31" tires, fairly conservative.

It happens on flat road.

I would change out all the fluid and replace the filter, for both of you.
Make sure you use the correct fluid, not generic fluid.
Then see what happens. I didn't have a problem with my TJ.
