While the articles may be silly, they are not the only reason for the demise
of VWT. I wish I knew a few more people who were as enthusiastic about VW as
Lois. I know her from my old days in NEATO and the stories she wrote about
her Single Cab (Vern?) were pretty good then.

Are there any overseas publications for the ACVW?

....................I found her writing to be very tedious and totally
lacking in content. I don't doubt that she's a nice person and that she
loves her single cab but whoever hired her to write a monthly column about
practically nothing ought to have their head examined.

VolksWorld from the UK. The magazine that I feel is the best monthly aircooled VW publication in existence today.

I guess I must be confused. I get VWT each month. They don't
appear to be "dieing". They just last month changed the cover art and
format. They finished a resto on a super 2 issues ago. Last issue they
started a ground up resto on a bus. Seems like an awful long term project
for a mag that is closing up shop. I wonder how many people have read it
recently. The tech article I have seen have been well done and seem well
researched. They are saying the same things that people on this group are.
I hope it is just a rumor. I am subscribed untill 2010......*8-}

I'm with you, regardless of what others may think, I love this mag. Maybe
it's because I'm a newbie at all this, and maybe when I'm as experienced as
the rest of you, I'll think its a rag. But right now, it gives me what I
need in a language I can understand. Plus I can read it when I'm not at the
computer. I love the internet and the wealth of knowledge it offers, but I
love my print media as well and am not ready to see it dwindle. I hope this
is just a nasty rumor and live on VWTrends!
